Please note that SUVs are not permitted due to rollover concerns\, and EVs are currently not permitted due to insurance restrictions.\nSafety Gear: An approved helmet is required to drive.\n\nIf you don’t have one yet\, don’t worry! We have a limited number of loaner helmets available on-site.\n\n\nPreparation is Key: Plan for a full day outdoors! We recommend bringing plenty of water\, sunscreen\, a packed lunch\, and snacks to stay fueled and hydrated.\nRegistration: We do not accept walk-ups\, so you must register online before the event to get behind the wheel.\n\nSave with Early Registration!\nWe want to see a packed grid\, and we love it when you plan ahead. Join us at the Clarenville Events Centre on Saturday\, August 15th for Event #6 of the season. The points race is tightening up\, the summer sun is out\, and there is no better way to spend a Saturday than pushing your car to the limit with the Vinland crew. \nEvent Details\n\nDate: Saturday\, August 15th\nTime: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm\nLocation: Clarenville Events Centre\n\nVital Info for Drivers\nTo ensure everyone has a safe and competitive day in a controlled environment\, please review our standard requirements: \n\nThe Right Ride: You must bring your own vehicle to compete. Please remember that SUVs (rollover risk) and EVs (insurance restrictions) are not permitted to run.\nHelmet Policy: Safety first! An approved helmet is required. If you don’t own one\, we have a limited supply of loaner helmets available for use.\nRegistration: We do not offer on-site registration. You must sign up online through MotorsportReg to participate.\nEarly Bird Special: Save some cash for tires! Register at least one week before the event to lock in our early registration discount.\nStay Fueled: We’ll be outside all day\, so please pack sunscreen\, plenty of water\, and a lunch.\n\nSpecial Requests\nWhen you register\, you’ll see a text box for Paddock & Grid Requests. Please use this to let us know: \n\nIf you are double driving a car with a friend.\nIf you have a preferred run group.\nIf there is a specific marshal station you’d like to work\, or a friend you’d like to be paired with while marshaling!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent requirements\n\nDriver Requirements & Community Spirit \nTo keep our events safe\, fun\, and running like a well-oiled machine\, please ensure you meet the following requirements before hitting the track: \n\nLicensing: All drivers must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license to participate. Please double check that yours is current before you head to the arena!\nRegistration: We rely on our amazing community to make these events happen. Because we need a specific number of people to operate the event safely\, online registration is mandatory.\nThe Vinland Way (Setup & Teardown): Autocross is a team effort! We ask that all participants arrive early to help us get the course and equipment ready for action. Staying after the final run to help with course clean-up is also a huge part of being a club member. Many hands make light work and get us all home sooner!\nSafety Gear: Protecting your head is the most important part of the day. Please ensure your helmet meets the standards listed below.
